Dear Hannarie & Ben,May we once more thank you very much for the fantastic support during our stay at Boschenmeer in the last three months. Our german friends Michaela and Gerd Weissmann (House owner No33) have been recommended to contact you as Golf Pro and to take exercises.
We can state today that this was a really top hint and valuable experience.
Not only the training but also your guidance at Boschenmeer Golf Club made as confident to return for a next stay there again.
Following your recommendations we made this year a membership in the Golf Club - and even more we are considering to invest at Boschenmeer in real estate ?We will forward this very positive experience in our german "Golf Envirement" and advertise for your Golf Academie at Boschenmeer. Surly some more german golfers will get motivated by us to contact and visit you.Again thank you very much and looking forward to meeting you in the second half of 2017 at Boschenmeer !Warm regards
Conny & Roland BertschBaden-Baden, Germany
Following the completion of my 10- lesson golf package with you.
I just wanted to put in writing how much I appreciated your skills and experience and also the extra time and effort you spent in attempting to improve my golf.
I do feel that, with your expert guidance, I made some significant progress and I learnt a lot about the game.
The whole experience was an unexpected bonus to my holiday.
It is now up to me to put into practice what you have taught me and I would hope, in due course, to report back that good progress has been made.
Finally, many thanks to you - and to Hannarie - for your hospitality.
P.S. Hope you achieve some good results in this Summer's competitions!
My name is Alex
I was a professional rugby player until my rugby career came to an end in 2012 when I was in a motorbike accident. Because of my injuries my limitation in sport were very few and golf was the one thing I had in mind, it was a good test for me to find piece and a true test to stay focused and not give up and put my energy into something new. I started to get to know Ben from the driving range back then I was a 24 handicap. I booked some sessions with him and slowly but surely I started playing better scores. The great thing about Ben is whenever I’m practising on the range even though I didn’t have a session with him he would always be kindful to help me anytime I’d ask him, I’ll say to him “oom” (uncle in Afrikaans) why does my ball do this or that ? , and his favourite saying thing is “slaan laat ek sien” ( hit let me see) and alot of hard work and support it finally came together today( 05/02/2014) a year and 5 months down to a 7 handicap and played my personal best with a 74. For me it was the greatest feeling in my life in a long time and every bit paid off self-discipline support from Ben and hard work thank you for everything. Next goal is to beat my coach (haha J) not yet but I’ll get there one day.
One of our lady members – Janet Malan – went through a bad patch with her golf game.
She could not take it any longer and came for a few lessons with Ben.
A few days ago Janet sent Ben a message :
I just want to thank you for the help with my game and to let you know about my progress.
Recently I played at Devonvale and came 5th.
I was very pleased with my game and especially the fact that I made four 4-pointers on the one nine holes.
A month earlier this was not a possibility because I could not hit the ball properly.
Thank you very much for putting the fun back in my game with a few small changes.
You truly are a brilliant pro!
